Sodium Chloride Solution 0.9% is a sterile, isotonic saline solution designed for a variety of medical and first aid applications. Containing 0.9 g sodium chloride per 100 ml of purified water, it matches the body’s natural salt concentration, making it gentle on tissues.
Commonly used for wound cleansing, device irrigation (such as catheters), and rinsing contact lenses or surgical instruments, this non-pyrogenic solution helps reduce the risk of irritation or infection. It is ready to use straight from the container—no dilution or preparation required.
