Lariam Tablets 250mg x 8

Lariam (Mefloquine 250mg) can help prevent malaria when travelling to malaria risk countries.

Dosage: Please note it is recommended that Mefloquine is taken as follows:

For Adults: Lariam is taken once weekly starting 10 days before you enter a malarial area, the second dose taken 3 days before and then continue to take on the same day of each week whilst there and for four weeks after leaving.

For Children: Each dose is taken once a week on the same day as the adult dosage. Exact dosage is dependant on age and weight (see below):

5-19kg (3mth-5yrs): Quarter tablet
20-30kg (6-8 yrs): Half tablet
31-45kg (9-14yrs): Three quarter tablet
