The In‑Check DIAL G16 by Clement Clarke (Alliance Tech Medical) is a precision inspiratory flow measurement and inhaler training device, calibrated to mimic the resistance of common dry powder inhalers (DPIs) and pressurised metered dose inhalers (pMDIs). With six preset resistance groups, it helps healthcare professionals coach patients to inhale at the flow rate that ensures optimal drug delivery to the lungs.

By assessing peak inspiratory flow (15–120 L/min, ±10 % accuracy), clinicians can rapidly identify if patients are using their inhalers effectively. Patients then learn the correct technique—improving adherence and therapeutic outcomes.

Included with the device is a pocket resistance guide, and it's compatible with single-use one-way valve mouthpieces or bacteriological filters to reduce cross-infection risk in multi-patient settings. The unit is easily cleaned by warm soapy water and includes a peds/small adapter.
