Dermol 500 Lotion is a clinically recognized antimicrobial emollient lotion ideal for managing dry, itchy (pruritic) skin conditions such as eczema and dermatitis. It also doubles as a gentle soap substitute, making it suitable for daily cleansing of sensitive skin
Formulated with a blend of emollient oils (liquid paraffin 2.5%, isopropyl myristate 2.5%) and antimicrobial agents (benzalkonium chloride 0.1%, chlorhexidine dihydrochloride 0.1%), Dermol provides both hydration and helps reduce bacteria like Staphylococcus aureus that aggravate itchy skin conditions
Suitable for all age groups—including infants—and can be applied regularly as a leave-on moisturizer or used in bathing/showering as a non‑foaming, gentle alternative to soap

Dermol 500 lotion is an emollient which helps to soften and hydrate dry skin, especially when you’re suffering from conditions such as eczema or dermatitis. It helps to moisturise dry skin and prevent symptoms like itching and can be used in people of all ages as an emollient or as a substitute for irritating soaps.
The active ingredients in this product are benzalkonium chloride (0.1% w/w), chlorhexidine dihydrochloride (0.1% w/w), liquid paraffin (2.5% w/w) and isopropyl myristate (2.5% w/w).
The other ingredients are cetostearyl alcohol, macrogol cetostearyl ether (cetomacrogol 1000), phenoxyethanol and purified water.
