Allevyn Non-Adhesive is a soft, conformable foam dressing designed to manage moderate to high levels of wound exudate while supporting moist healing. Constructed with advanced triple-layer technology, it features a perforated non-adherent contact layer, an absorbent hydrocellular foam core, and a breathable, waterproof backing. Its non-adherent design makes it ideal for use on sensitive skin—like in cases of epidermolysis bullosa—and is suitable for a wide variety of wound types including pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, surgical wounds, donor sites, shallow burns (1st–2nd degree), and malignant or fungating wounds. It can also be used under compression bandaging or with Intrasite Gel for sloughy wounds. The dressing can remain in situ for up to 7 days depending on wound conditions and exudate levels.
From the beginning ALLEVYN was designed to respond to the human body. ALLEVYN Non-Adhesive was the first ALLEVYN variant, launched in 1987 it combined patient comfort with the revolutionary trilayer fluid management system that enables moist wound healing
ALLEVYN Non-Adhesive has stood the test of time and continues to be an essential for patients and clinicians all over the world.
