- Reduces duration and discomfort when started early at first tingling or redness
- Apply a thin layer to affected areas five times daily for 4 days, ideally at prodrome or blister stage

This cold sore cream is used as an antiviral agent that for treating cold sores. It can be used to prevent a cold sore at the first signs, tingling and itching, or when it has already appeared, to aid the healing process.
should not be used by anyone who is allergic to the ingredients in the cream. These are:
- Aciclovir
- Stearoylmacrogolglycerides
- Dimethicone
- Cetyl alcohol
- Liquid paraffin
- White soft paraffin
- Propyleneglycol
- Purified water
Do not use this cream for anything else other than a cold sore.
